SACKS AND RUFFLES

Description: Sacks and Ruffles is a sculptural series of work that explores many of the same concepts as Skin Adornments (2010). This series expands upon the physical relationship we have to our bodies’ surfaces through scale, placement and ambiguity of shape. By creating this work I direct the viewer to consider their relationships to their body and its surfaces.
Materials: lace, vinyl, silicone rubber and pigment, pearl head pins, tulle and costume jewelry earrings.
